HeY I’M LAUREN
The woman behind The Pearl Barbers, a master stylist for 17 years, currently operating out of Strange Powers Salon in NE Portland. I like to combine the amenities of a salon with the more relaxed atmosphere of a barbershop, to bring you a very elevated yet friendly hair experience. As a cutting specialist, my focus is short masculine styles, but I also enjoy longer shags, mullets, natural textured waves/curls, as well as gender affirming transformations. My clients come for the cuts & stay for the relaxing scalp massages & libations. I strive to give everyone a uniquely tailored haircut experience every time.

LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
The Pearl Barbers would like to acknowledge the ancestral keepers of the land we live and work on today.
"The Portland Metro area rests on traditional village sites of the Multnomah, Wasco, Cowlitz, Kathlamet, Clackamas, Bands of Chinook, Tualatin, Kalapuya, Molalla, and many other tribes who made their homes along the Columbia River creating communities and summer encampments to harvest and use the plentiful natural resources of the area." -Portland Indian Leaders Roundtable, 2018
We acknowledge the first peoples of this land and thank them for their continued presence and immense contributions to history, culture and tradition.
